Place the pedal machine in front of you. Put your feet on the pedals and slowly pedal with no resistance. Gradually increase the time and resistance and repeat as needed.
Stretching Injured Knees
The foot pedal exerciser can be used for stretching. Slide the foot of the leg that has the injured knee in the pedal that is nearest to the floor.
Rotate this pedal to the highest height it can go to, using the leg that has the injured knee. Hold that position. Then, gently push the pedal back down and pull it back up.
Repeat this sequence for five cycles.
